Okay, so I have had many questions on our donkey Trisha and dog Roxy. Well with Trisha, we only had her a few days. She was apparently running through the main base back like a month ago. Some guys from our company roped her in and our CO decided that we should keep her and find an Iraqi family to give her to. So, we here at our FOB became foster parents for a short time. Trisha ended up with this nice old Iraqi couple who was more than ecstatic to recieve her. They had a farm and I'm sure the work Trisha can do will more than relieve the old man of daily heavy duties. Now Roxy on the other hand has not been around lately. The Navy has just set up not to far from us and I have heard she is now staying down with them. I guess they must have better food or something for her. Anyway, she did stop by one day last week to dig up a piece of chicken she had buried a few days before, but other than that have not seen her much. All is well in our little world over here. Missions every other day which keep us pretty busy.

Cindy,
Thank you. Today is the day to remember all those who were brave enough to serve this great country and paid the ultimate sacrifice. We just watched "Flags of Our Fathers." Gets me everytime. If it weren't for those brave men we wouldn't know what freedom is.
No, Thank You Joe...We owe everything to you and all our Father's,Mother's ,family and friends whom have served and made the ultimate sacrafice for our country. For us to remain free.
I pray for you all and your families. Thank You Joe.
Just stay safe and come home soon.
Love You Cindy
Hi Joe,
Thanks for all you are doing over there. Nice to hear that Trisha got a good home and I am sure that the family really appreciates her. I can't believe that Roxy left you with all the good food that she must have been getting, the food must be better over at the other camp. We are all doing just fine here. Stay safe and the time is ticking away.
Love, Kathy

Hi Joe,
Been busy around here lately. Connie's Daughter Graduates tonight at Michigan Center and Danialle's Ballet recitial is tomorrow night. The weather is maybe going to turn into summer. It has been kind a cold around here. Hopefully it has not been that unbarely hot over there.
I see you are gettting down to that 100 day mark. WOW!!August will be here soon.
Have you been running missions lately? Please be safe. I know that it isn't a safe world over there, but be careful.
Well just wanted to drop you a line and say hi. Thank You for the response back the other day.
Love ya Joe.

Joe,
Hi there! How are you? I got your address from Natalie (I hope that was ok) and sent you a card yesterday and I am going to send you cards until you come home!
Well, have an amazingly blessed day!
Lauren
Haven't heard from you recently, hope all is well.
School is out for the summer. Do you want me to sing it? You really don't. That means Danialle will be anxious to go to Chicago. Ther is a one day trip to American Girl next Friday, and I was think ing about taking her there. It leaves by bus here and then returns at 9:00 at night. Don't know if I want to go both direstions in a day. I would like to hang out for a bit.
What about those Red Wings? I don't know if you like hockey, but we love the Red Wings. They are the Stanley Cup Champs this year. Yeah for the Red Wings, they beat the Penguins in the final.Just news from home.
Not much more happen around here. It is hot hot hot 93 today and is suppose to stay that way. Maybe you are hotter, and I pray that you are not.Because I can't even imagine all the equipment you wear in the heat. I melt in this weather.
Well for now I will be thinking about you and sending you my Love and prayers. Take care and be safe.
Love Cindy
