Class is done.....

Well, as you can see in the pictures, my class of combat medics for the PSF is now complete. All the guys did a lot better than I had originally expected. Like any class you always have the few that do really well and those who just sit back and wait for class to be over. I have to say though the majority did really well. By the end of the week all were asking questions, interested in knowing more and really started taking on how to care for their own. We taught IV's on one of the last days and it was pretty interesting how they all were ready to stick each other and learn just one more skill that they could take with them. The last day most of the guys were taking pictures with me and the other Doc, telling us about their families and asking about ours. They all seem to be a part of the good fight here, a couple you wonder about but as long as we hit the masses hopefully the tipping point will one day be reached. All in all our mission here continues, train and relinquish control so that we can all go home.

Like always we are very proud of you Joe. Keep up the good work. That is our mission to get you all home.
So will you be training more? Or is that all for now. The more they know, the faster your accomplishment will improve their way of life, and get them running their own country.
Are you still looking on the internet at homes? In two more days you will be ticking in the 130's. That means a bigger chance of those homes still being on the market.
Did any one from Chicago tell you about the guy in the truck slamming into the train station. Didn't get all the details, but saw that on the news. That is pretty scary. Happen a few days ago.
That is about all happen around here for now.I will be writing you soon.
Love Ya Cindy

Joe,
Great job and I know that there is still more to do. The sooner they all get trained the sooner we are out of there....
Has the package arrived yet? I am curious to see how long it takes to get to you.
Weather is starting to get really nice here except for a few cold days that we have had, but it is well worth the wait for the warmer weather.
Stay safe and we continue to pray for all of you.

Cindy,

Thank you for all the comments. You have definitely been one of the few that consistently let's me know you are out there. It is great to hear from you. As far as looking for house, definitely. There are a lot coming into my price range now and looking foward to spreading out a little. Other than that all is well.

Kathy, I did receive your package and thank you. The candy is still sitting on my box awaiting a run to the city. Next week sometime we are supposed to do a medical clinc for the locals so they will be getting your love from back home.

Lauren,

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog and respond. Honestly, that short week I was home is such a blur to me, so much on my mind at the time I don't exactly remember you at the moment. I barely remember all I did. I'm sure if I saw you the memory would come back. Anyway, we really appreciate those of you back home that support us here and what we have chosen to do. It takes a big heart to take time out of your life to remember us here. We do what we do because we love our country. Keep sending your solider those packages and cards, keeps us in touch with home. God Bless!!

I am trying to help any way I can, I have gotten two of my friends to adopt soldiers and every week at church we have a time of silence where we can lift up peoples names that need prays and I always say “For All of Are Armed Men and Women Over Seas”. I just hope yall know how much I think the world of you and cannot wait for yall to come home SAFE and SOON!
