I thought I would post a couple pics. Still haven't had the time to figure out how to post a slide show on here. So for now, here are three pictures. The first is of my rifle during weapons cleaning, pretty cool shot all disassembled. The second is a picture of the trauma/BAS that we built at our new Joint Security Station. The last is of me with a PSF soilder down by the canal. All is well here. Soon to be teaching a full fledged Combat Trauma Course to the PSF. They are going to designate something like 25-30 as their "medics" and I will be doing a seven day course for them. Will be an interesting experience. Two months down and something like four and a little more to go.

Hey Load, Sounds like your using your paramedic status like you do in the city to get out of work!!
Hi Joe,
Thanks for the great pictures. Sounds like you are working really hard over there trying to get them prepared to take over, after all that is our goal, right?
Stay safe and we keep praying for you and the troups.
Kathy
Hey, Joe,
Finally got on-line (I hate dial-up!!) and up to speed with your blog.
The pics are great! You've always been creative when there is a tough task at hand. The BAS looks awesome! Congrats to you guys for your hard work.
Good to hear you're going to be passing along your experience/trainig to the provincials. Remember when we talked last fall (when so many of your contemporaries were giving you little encouragement for your committment to go to Iraq), the subject of responsibilities came up - we were on the same page in that we both believed the time had come for the Iraq nationals to step up to the plate and take responsibility for their future. And now, with the help of folks like you and the rest of our troops, this is becoming a reality.
God bless you all and keep you out of harms way. You make me proud to be an American and your mom. I love you.
Mom
Thanks Mom!!
Hi Joe,
Hope all is going well for you in your training.I'm sure these guys are all ready to be sent out on their own to take on their own world.
Kathy and I went shopping and got dog food. We will be sending it out real soon. I'm going to call Mel tonight and find out what way we should mail it to get a better rate. I know that she had told me before, but of course I had it wrote down and I don't know what I did with the info.
Are things still pretty quiet for you? Any run- ins with planes or helo's on landing pads?
It looks like the weather might end up getting nicer. Suppose to get into the 60's this weekend. Now that is what I'm talking about.Been long time coming. Your Mom and Step-Dad will be getting their bikes out at this rate. I bet you look forward to riding again.
Kids have been on Spring Break around here this week. Can't seem to find enough to entertain them with here in Jackson. Danialle wants to go back to Chicago soon. She said the other day lets jump on a train and go to Chicago. I said I can't afford the hotel rates. Everything is close to 250.00 a night. I don't know what areas are good and bad and I don't want to end up in a bad situation.Maybe if you get a moment you could steer me in the right direction.
Well I guess I better run. You take care.
Love Cindy
Hi Joe,
Thanks for the pictures, Cindy forwards them to us.
We are so proud of you, and all of those serving our country.
We pray for your safety and well being each day.
Useing your talents as a paramedic to help others learn is a blessing.
Take care and be safe.
God bless
