We are here....well most of the way.

Just a quick Hello from a different time zone. We are nine hours ahead of Chicago time. We arrived here in Kuwait late last night after about a fourteen hour flight and two stops. We stopped in Maine and then Germany prior to arrving. I actually slept pretty well on the plane. Temp here is low 50's and raining. All is well, lots of uncomfortable moving and trying to get situated. One more move and we will be at our final stop for the duration.

I will try and keep this updated or at least say hello everyonce in awhile so that you all know we are okay. Don't panic if there is a big delay of a couple weeks or so. Schedule may dictate how much I can get on the internet and also what the big bosses say.

Otherwise....the next leg has begun. Keep the comments coming. It is so nice get the support. Home doesn't seem as far away.

Hi Joe,
Glad to hear that you made it there safe. Just continue being safe! I Love to read the stuff from your fellow Firefighters. And your comments back. You keep those spirits up.
I think that I would rather have your weather then ours. It is down right cold here. These single digits are down right wrong.
I'm glad that you got to blog everyone to let them know you are safe. I was actually going to call around to see if anyone heard from you.
I will be looking forward to reading your next blog.
Love Ya Joe

Hey, Sweetheart,

Sooo good to hear you're on the ground and relatively safe.

I'm so very proud to be your Mom, Joe - you are and always will be my hero. You are the love of my life, my heart of hearts and the sunshine of my universe. God bless you always. We're all keeping you and your unit in our prayers and hearts. The French's say hello and John's working on teaching Ed how to blog back to you. Old dogs, new tricks!

Write as you can and we'll do the same. God bless you,

Mom

Hey Sunshine,
How are you? Loved the picture from Maine. That is a very special site to me when you see those troups at the airport. Always curious if they are coming or going.Wish it would be the coming for you. You just keep your strength and it will be no time before you are back. Atleast, I hope time goes as fast for you as it does for me.
Look forward to hearing from you and knowing that you are safe.

Hi Joe,
What has been going on?
Getting ready here in a couple of weeks to leave for Florida for a few days. Go down there and check on those senior citizens. And get out of this cold place. We are suppose to have a foot of snow tonight. Probably about the time I leave we will have a warm spell here. That is pretty much how it goes every time I go to Florida.
Danialle and I sent out some cards to you yesterday. We will see how long it takes to get to you. Every time we go in a store she has to check out cards and find you a couple. Actually, it is kinda cute.
Well guy ,I hope you can get on the computer every so often to check in. Just to let us know everything is ok. We love you and we support you. Stay safe!!
Love Ya Cindy
