Well, our admin week has went very smoothly. They are telling us we should be headed to 29 Palms this weekend where we will settle in and begin our training on Monday. I have attached a picture of where 29 Palms is located so that everyone has an idea where we will be. We should be there for a few months and they are telling us we will be on a six day work week until December. Then some leave to go home for the holidays and then off to our final destination. So very easy this week. Just getting back into the active duty mentality. Taking advantage of my evenings off just relaxing. So all is well and on to our next stage.

Glad to hear that the processing part is over with. Twenty Nine Palms is nice, but way too much sand for me.It sounds like you are going to be pretty busy from here on out. Take one day at a time. Enjoy California! I look forward to reading your updates. Our prayers are with you.

Joe, I want you to know that i had a lesson in patience; I sat with Smoky to encourage her to eat. Belive me Joe anyone who knows me knows that I cannot sit still for too long, but for that sweet face, she owned my heart. Do not worry about your furry family, they are being loved and well taken care of. Release yourself from any worries Joe, just take care of yourself and your commrades, we are keeping the home fires buring for your safe return.

I didn't know we had more in common...I was also an HM2 but only 40 years ago. Nat is adjusting to the cats. They are soooo good. We helped her move and now she's really enjoying your place. I know you'll do well at whatever they assign to you do. You're a Navy Corpsman!!! We'll pray for you.

Hope you had a good weekend before all the major work begins.I hope that you got a chance to clear your mind. And that you are all about yourself and your fellow soldiers. That is all that you need to think about.
By the other comments, it sounds like Nat and your little family are doing well. I guess you just have to hope that Nat doesn't like your place to much.You might have to find a new place to live when you get back.
